The buzz is that Nikita Thukral, the Saroja girl, has backed out of a
Kannada film due to a kissing scene in it. Is that true? “I find it unacceptable
to kiss a new hero, especially when it’s not necessary,” she explains, “Director
Omprakash explained that my screen time would be reduced because it was to be an
action-oriented film. But he thinks that the kissing scene will be the
highlight. I didn’t want him to use me as a prop. So, I decided not to be a part
of the film.”
Over the years, Abhishek Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor have been quite vociferous
about not wanting to work together after his marriage to Karisma Kapoor was
called off. Now, things seem to be looking up as Kareena and Abhishek are in the
mood to move on and have agreed to star together in a film after six years. The
buzz is that the two have been signed for Abbas Mustan’s untitled film, a remake
of the Hollywood film, Italian Job. The movie will also star Katrina Kaif and
Neil Nitin Mukesh in lead roles. A source says, “Initially, talks were on with
Saif Ali Khan, but he did not have dates and Abhishek Bachchan replaced him.
